Dev House 5 was held @ Alpha Lab. The turn-out was better than expected, considering the VP debate. There was “southwest” cuisine provided by Moes and our host, Alpha Lab, made everyone feel at home. If the Pitt scientist are correct about wifi rays harming our health, that we all lost about 5 years last night. As the DevHouse group gains in popularity, the diversity and skill set grow and grow. The casual atmosphere and friendly “geeks” really offer a vision into tech innovation in Pittsburgh. There was a time Pittsburgh was the center of entrepreneurial development. With more tech groups blossoming like Podcamp, Perl Camp and a abundant community of game developers, Pittsburgh is on another crash course of greatness.

Amongst last nights attendees was former steelers fullback Steve Avery. There is a defined attraction for all types at DevHouse. Thanks again to the gang @ Alpha Lab for hosting us. Hope to see everybody again at DevHouse 6 (venue TBA).
